I don’t know how he’s held this disparate group together, and I pray that his successor may continue to do so.An agreement between Bishop Stanton and Bishop Iker, ACNA Diocese of Fort Worth, was that any female candidate for orders from Forth Worth, Anglo-Catholic and not allowing female priests, would come under the aegis of Dallas. When some parishes of Dallas thought TEC had gone too far in reinventing the faith, and they wanted to join Fort Worth, Bishop Stanton said, “Go with grace.”Where in the world would there be a bishop who could continue to hold the diverse elements together? Where in the world would there be a bishop who was even willing to try?Grant Rector Albany, NY Assistant/Associate Rector Washington, DC New Berrigan Book With Episcopal Roots Cascade Books Bishop Diocesan Springfield, IL Curate (Associate & Priest-in-Charge) Traverse City, MI Director of Music Morristown, NJ By ENS staffPosted May 15, 2013 Michael Metzler says: Virtual Episcopal Latino Ministry Competency Course Online Course Aug. 9-13 Seminary of the Southwest announces appointment of two new full time faculty members Seminary of the Southwest Michael Metzler says: Rector Tampa, FL Episcopal Church releases new prayer book translations into Spanish and French, solicits feedback Episcopal Church Office of Public Affairs July 26, 2014 at 2:45 am My name is Michael Metzler and I am a friend of Bishop Stanton’s from Orange County, California.
